I just made the mistake of looking up an endurance swimming training plan. Their basic workout is 2000 yards, and maxing out at 8000. That is A VERY LONG SWIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to try to increase 50 yards a week, 100 if I'm feeling good. I'm getting worried about the amount of time this training is going to consume.

you are training for an IRONMAN....this shit aint easy....its going to take countless hours of sweat, lots of tears, and possibly (more like PROBABLY) blood shed (I can say this b/c I am just as accident prone as you are) before you can accomplish this tall feat. HOWEVER, I have complete faith that you will follow through with this and achieve something that only few do. Go BIG or go HOME right???
ReplyDeleteTwo week boot camp for Catie starts tomorrow. Cardio intervals to start the day, and will finish with a little yoga. keep up the good hard work!!!!
